About
Kristin wants to take a moment and say welcome and thank you for visiting her site. Kristin’s goal here is to share her knowledge and experiences from a lifetime of healthy living as well as being an athlete and yoga teacher who specializes in pre and postnatal fitness and rehab. But most importantly her adventures of becoming a mother as an expat, living in the Middle East, being a wife to an amazing guy and mom to one sweet little boy.
Life can be a challenge for everyone when work, finances, schedules, friends and family, kids, mealtime, fitness are crammed into one day…but the list can go on and on. That is where women often don’t give themselves the time they deserve physically and emotionally and end up suffering. Always wanting to be a people pleaser, Kristin knows this too well. She is very much your “average woman” and understands what millions of other women are thinking and feeling. What frustrates her, drives her, breaks her heart, and even makes her happy is the same as any woman on this earth. She hopes to motivate and inspire as many people as she can to cultivate positive outcomes in both their lives both on and off the mat. This lifestyle was kindled further after the birth of her son in 2013. Having her first child in a foreign country and away from family was a challenge in many ways. However this experience encouraged her to focus on creating a supportive community and developing programs specifically designed to serve and empower people just like her. That is anyone who is thinking of becoming pregnant, those who are already pregnant, those who have given birth to their little loves and honestly any woman interested!
In 2014 Kristin enrolled into the ICEA Childbirth Educator certification program in order to incorporate the vital educational piece into her physical movement programming. What has evolved is something truly revolutionary.
Kristin has had the opportunity to work with amazing teachers such as John Scott, Kathryn Budig, Kino MacGregor, Tiffany Cruikshanks, Meghan Currie, Bridget Woods Kramer, Yogeswari, Noah Mckenna, Allison West, Max Strom and many, many more. Kristin received her 200hr teaching certificate under the wise tutelage of Valerie Jeremeijenko and her 500hr level teaching certification with Dave & Cheryl Oliver. She has done pre and postnatal sports rehab trainings through the world renowned Physical Therapist Julie Wiebe, work with Biomechanist Katy Bowman and leading UK educator Jenny Burrell among many others.
