Postnatal Yoga & Rehab
This Postnatal Yoga & Rehab program is designed to really delve into the challenges women face after having a baby and beyond. A lot of emphasis will be given to the prenatal period and working with the changes so as to minimize the dysfunction and strain on a woman’s body. If yoga and movement are done safely and with a strategy in mind, most women can become actually become stronger during pregnancy and afterwards than they may have ever been. A strong body is likely to heal more quickly and “bounce back” more effectively. Obviously every woman has a different labor story and with that come different outcomes and setbacks. This course will allow for teachers to be fully equipped to handle these situations and be able to give knowledgeable and intelligent advice and guidance to their students.

- Labor and delivery outcomes
- Postpartum rehabilitation from surgeries
- Working with pelvic floor dysfunction
- Diastasis recti
- Connecting to central stability for functional movement
- Postpartum depression
- Relaxation, self acceptance and meditation techniques
- Mommy & Me Yoga
